“Once something is a passion, the motivation is there.”

Ginetta Junior Scholarship

Background

Bailey is a dedicated and aspiring racing driver who thrives on the thrill of competition and has a single goal - to win. Every lap, every race, is a step closer to realising that dream.

Before entering the racing world, he had an impressive background as a youth footballer at the Crystal Palace Elite Player Foundation, where teamwork and strategy shaped a strong, competitive mindset.

Bailey also excelled at mountain biking, however, the satisfaction of finding the back of the net or pushing his limits on a bike was clearly not enough. Bailey soon realised that he craved something more, something that brought fear, adrenaline and pure excitement. It was in motorsport where he found his true calling.

Rotax Junior Karting

Background

Bailey is something of an outlier in the racing world, having started later than many of his peers. While many young drivers spend years honing their craft in karts, Bailey completed just a single season in hire karts, placing 2nd in the winter championship at Bayford Meadows, then progressing into Rotax owner-driver racing in late 2024.

Karting has given him a strong foundation and Bailey is now focused on the next essential step for any aspiring racer, moving from karts into cars.

With a fierce drive and determination, Bailey is pushing himself to new limits, eager to make his mark in the world of competitive motorsport.

Despite his unconventional path, in 2025 Bailey entered the Ginetta Junior Scholarship, which saw approximately 70 competitors vying for a single winner’s prize, a fully funded car for the 2026 Ginetta Junior Championship season. Having never driven a car before, Bailey was enrolled on a two-day development session in a Ginetta car ahead of the scholarship. He performed exceptionally well and really impressed MK racing, the team he trained with.

During the scholarship weekend, Bailey progressed to the final day and reached the last 26 before being eliminated ahead of the top ten selection.

MK Racing

Thinking Ahead

Off The Track

MK Racing are an established GT Racing team who started racing in the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2025 and are looking to produce future GT drivers from within their Ginetta Junior team. Thinking Ahead

Off The Track

Bailey is currently in his GCSE year at school, balancing academic commitment with the demands of an emerging professional racing career, a testament to his discipline and focus.

In September, he will begin studying Vehicle Technology (Motorsport) at Hadlow College, a specialist course designed to develop in-depth mechanical knowledge and technical understanding. This will give Bailey a crucial advantage, not only racing the car, but truly understanding it. From chassis setup and data analysis to mechanical systems and race preparation, he is committed to becoming a complete racing driver, one who can communicate effectively with engineers and extract maximum performance from both car and team.

Thinking Ahead

Bailey aims to emulate his MK Racing team mate Will Orton, who competes in the GT4 category of the British GT Championship, one of the UK’s premier endurance racing platforms. Racing at this level demands not only speed, but maturity, technical understanding and the ability to work seamlessly within a professional driver pairing.

Will currently shares the car with race partner and Aston Martin F1 Ambassador Jessica Hawkins. This progression provides a clear and proven pathway for Bailey, from junior racer to high performance GT endurance racing. For Bailey, the objective is clear - continue developing through structured competition, gain experience and position himself to make the next step
