Round 3 - Oulton Park Circuit

Race Report 23rd and 25th May 2026

A highly positive weekend, showing strong pace throughout and proving the performance is there to start competing consistently inside the top 10. Qualifying secured P16 and P13, giving a solid platform heading into the races.

Race 1 delivered a strong drive from P16 to P12, with the car running inside the top 10 for much of the race. Unfortunately, contact in the closing corners forced the car wide and cost a few positions late on but finished top of class in the Freshman class.

Race 2 was another positive step forward, climbing from P13 to P11 and once again demonstrating competitive race pace and strong consistency throughout the field securing the top of class Freshman trophy. Race 3 looked set to continue the momentum before contact from another car resulted in rear damage and a puncture, ultimately forcing a retirement from the race.

Despite the unfortunate ending, the weekend was full of positives, with strong pace, position gains, and clear progress shown across all three races.

Race Report 25th to 26th April 2026

The second round of the 2026 Ginetta Junior Championship took place at Silverstone, one of the UK’s most iconic circuits and a key early benchmark in the season. With a highly competitive grid of 29 cars, the weekend provided the perfect opportunity to measure progress and racecraft. Qualifying proved challenging, with a P23 and P22 result. In such a tightly packed field, small margins make a big difference, leaving work to do heading into the opening race.

Starting from P23, Race 1 saw a strong recovery drive through the field to finish P15 overall, securing P1 in the freshman class. A clean and consistent race allowed for steady progress, with multiple overtakes and solid pace throughout. It was a positive response after a difficult qualifying session.

Another impressive performance followed in Race 2, moving from P22 to P14, again taking P1 in  the freshman class. Confidence and racecraft continued to build, with competitive lap times and controlled moves through traffic highlighting a clear step forward.

Starting inside the top 15, Race 3 offered strong potential for another positive result. However, an unavoidable incident involving a spinning car ahead disrupted the race, resulting in a P18 finish. Despite the setback, overall pace remained strong and consistent with the earlier races.

Round 1 - donington Park gp

Race Report 11th to 12th April 2026

The debut weekend in the 2026 Ginetta Junior Championship at Donington Park demonstrated strong potential despite a mix of challenges. After qualifying 18th out of 28 cars for both Race 1 and Race 2, an immediate impact was made in the opening race.

A confident drive through the field saw progress to 12th overall, finishing 9th in the rookie class and securing an excellent victory in the Freshman class. Race 2 proved less fortunate. Despite showing competitive pace, contact on the final lap forced a retirement. This setback resulted in a back of the grid start for the final race, lining up in 24th position.

The final race of the weekend brought additional challenges, with wet conditions adding to the difficulty. A determined performance followed, working through the field to 19th overall and once again securing victory in the Freshman class.

The standout achievement of the weekend came in the Freshman Cup, competing against drivers with similar experience. Two class wins led to securing overall Freshman honours. While the weekend featured mixed fortunes, it clearly highlighted strong racecraft, resilience, and promise within a highly competitive championship.
